Our training program is associated with Beth Haven Baptist Seminary (BHBS). At BHBS we offer Masters and Doctoral levels of Biblical Counseling. Biblical Counseling is one of the most important local church ministries, though it is often neglected by pastors and church members that feel overwhelmed and ill-equipped to meet the many diverse needs of today. In a world and especially a culture where many people who walk through the doors of a church have experienced great trauma (abuse, addictions, grief etc) and feel lonely, depressed or helpless, it is absolutely necessary for men and women of God to be equipped with the knowledge and understanding needed to help deal with the needs of today. The truth shall set you free. God gave pastors and teachers to the church For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Secular psychologists, therapists, and guidance counselors have brought such confusion to society. God’s way is not the way of: do what you think is best for yourself, take mind-altering drugs or transgender surgeries. Our method is simple: search the scriptures related to the root causes of problems and needs and then teach these truths in love.
